Terms of Use
Governing use of sgxevents.com and related SGX Events corporate digital properties. Last updated: September 2026.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using sgxevents.com(the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
The Site is operated by SGX Events to provide information about our organisation, industries, experiences, partnership opportunities, and media resources.
2. About SGX Events services
SGX Events organises and promotes international scientific conferences, executive summits, exhibitions, hybrid programmes, and related partnership offerings. Content on this Site describes those services at a corporate level.
Participation in any specific conference or commercial package is subject to separate event terms, registration conditions, sponsorship agreements, or exhibition contracts issued for that programme. In the event of conflict, event-specific terms prevail for that engagement.
3. Informational nature of the Site
Materials on the Site — including statistics, industry descriptions, partnership tiers, press summaries, office listings, and programme overviews — are provided for general information. Dates, venues, speakers, fees, package inclusions, and availability may change.
SGX does not warrant that Site content is complete, current, or error-free at all times. Always confirm critical details with the relevant SGX team or on the official event microsite before making commercial or travel decisions.
4. Enquiries, forms, and communications
Submitting an enquiry, newsletter subscription, or media request does not create a sponsorship, exhibition, speaking, or attendance contract. We will respond as reasonably practicable and may share your enquiry with the appropriate regional or commercial team.
You agree that information you submit is accurate and that you have authority to provide it on behalf of your organisation where applicable.
5. Event registration, fees, and cancellations
Delegate registration, abstract submission, accommodation packages, and payment processing for individual events are handled on the applicable conference websites under those sites' terms. Refund, transfer, visa-support, and force-majeure rules are defined there.
SGX may postpone, relocate, convert to hybrid/digital, or cancel an event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (including venue issues, public health measures, travel restrictions, or safety concerns). Remedies for registered participants are governed by the event terms in force at registration.
6. Sponsorship and exhibition
Partnership tiers and benefits described on this Site are illustrative. Final deliverables, branding rights, booth specifications, lead-capture rules, and payment schedules are set out in written sponsorship or exhibition agreements.
Sponsors and exhibitors are responsible for the accuracy of their marketing claims and for compliance with applicable advertising, competition, and data protection laws when collecting or using delegate leads.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Site's text, design, graphics, logos, and compilation of content are owned by SGX Events or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print limited extracts for personal or internal business evaluation, but you may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit Site content without prior written consent.
Event names, short titles, and programme brands associated with SGX conferences are used to identify our portfolio. Third-party names and marks appearing on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are referenced for identification only.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for unlawful, misleading, or harmful purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, data, or accounts
- Introduce malware, scrape content aggressively, or disrupt Site operations
- Misrepresent affiliation with SGX Events or any SGX conference
- Submit false, defamatory, or infringing content through forms or correspondence
9. Third-party links and tools
The Site may link to external websites, including individual event microsites, partner pages, or media resources. SGX is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites. Access them at your own risk and review their terms separately.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SGX disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or secure access.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SGX Events and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the Site or reliance on its content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SGX Events from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights in connection with Site use.
13. Changes to the Site and terms
We may update Site content, features, or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material updates will be reflected by the "Last updated" date on this page.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the SGX operating entity managing the Site, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in that jurisdiction shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
